LAUGHING.
Kang Ji-Su, an advertising company employee, quits her job when harassed and discriminated against by her boss. She starts her own advertising company. She wants to hire O Ki-Chan, a well-known commercial film director. Sick and tired of advertisers' bad practices, however, he would not accept the offer. She manages to get him o work for her company, Manson Planning. Manson Planning is entrusted with a huge advertisement project. This advertisement was intended not to promote a product but rather to depress the sales. A son of the sponsor company's owner has a vicious intention to make the company go out of business by using the advertisement. All the Manson Planning staffs do their best to make the commercial. To the disappointment of the sponsor, the advertisement is a great success and the goods sells like hot cakes because of the honesty of the advertisement. Watching such a success, Taehan Electronics, one of the conglomerates, entrusts them with a big advertisement contract. Mr. Kim, planning manager of Taehan Electronics, has a liking for Ji-Su. He makes an offer that Taehan will do business with her firm as sole contractor for subsequent projects if this one is successful, and that if it fails, Ji-Su must do whatever he wants her to do. The advertisement fails despite every effort on the part of Manson Planning
due to Mr. Kim's obstruction. To make matters worse, Kang Ji-Su misunderstands
that O Ki-Chan has masterminded the failure.
