Soon-Nyeo, just a high schoolgirl,  is suffering from hardship and pain while she is confused with views of life and world. 

Father, who is a Buddhist monk called Un-Bong, has left her.  Mother, called Je-Ju-Dack, is induged in usury and sex.  A middle-aged man, Mother’s unmarried husband, raped her.  And the parting from Hyun-Jong after a sad trip with him made Soon-Nyeo miserable.   These are the matters of the secular world which deprives her of her own spirit. 

At dust on a winter day, Soon-Nyeo comes to Duk-Am Temple.  After she studies there Buddhism and receives the Buddhist confirmation and consecration.  She begins her life as a Buddhist nun with Jin-Sung who is of her age.
