<SYNOPSIS> Festival
Jun-Sub, a novelist at his 40’s, receives a phone call which informs
him of his mother’s death.
The funeral services, in the Korean traditional style, starts as Jun-Sub
arrives at his old home. His family members get together for the
funeral. His mother, 87, has suffered from senile dementia, so relatives
are not so sad about her death.
The mourner’s house gets noisy and messy while many happenings occur.
As time goes by, people are getting drunk and the place is changing
to the scene of a spree. Suddenly, Yong-Soon, the ostracized niece
of Jun-Sub, who is dead-drunk, throws a cold blanket over the spree shouting
out aggressively….
