In years, Kil-Ryong comes again to see Young-Eun and find that she has left to somewhere.  Meanwhile, Young-Eun becomes skillful and tries to make money.  She comes to run a bar with help of a rich man.  However, she gets broke by gambling debt and fraud.  So she has to sell herself to cheap bars and so-called Texas quarters (a kind of brothel)
She comes back to the first brothel after being tired and exhausted with her year’s life at those Texas quarters.
